I work with CEOs, Board Members, Leaders in Industry, Heads of, Business owners, Leaders. Managers and every day workers. What stands out to me is that people are people, everyone has hopes, fears, triumphs and tribulations and I work with people to navigate what that means for them and how to get to where they want. I use my experience in business, as an entrepreneur, inventor, and people and change transformation consultant and advisor as I coach people and really know how to make things happen. I call it a hearts and minds approach. When you know it in your mind and believe it in your heart it will be easier to achieve your goals. I really love the work I do with people as glimmers of understanding and appreciation of their worth are switched on., I see people take steps towards their goals and make their own change happen and that is a wonderful thing.

Modules One & Two: Getting Started and Preparation

As with many important projects in life, preparation is key to success. Another important factor is knowing exactly what you want to achieve and being focused and committed to doing so. This module is the first step of your program. It will help you set the scene and get organised and be ready to master the rest of the program.

Module Three: Self Percecption

How you see yourself informs how you act. Self-perception is about connecting with your key positive qualities and gaining a greater understanding of these in order to begin crafting your brand and your value message. Exploring your self-perception gives you the opportunity to take a look at yourself in a way you probably haven’t before.

Understanding the value, you bring to your work as an employable asset can be game-changing. When we talk value, we talk about outcome value and show you how to create short and impactful statements that demonstrate why your boss, colleagues or potential new boss should sit up and take notice of you.

Module Five: Communication

Everyone communicates in their own way each day and in multiple scenarios. In the context of knowing your worth, we ask that you become even more alert to the said and unsaid of communication around you. We will acquaint, or re-acquaint you with communication concepts so they’re front of the mind for your conversations.

Negotiating is the dance of understanding and agreement. No matter whether it’s a fast game like taking a job with a new company or a slower game with the same company when you have good negotiation skills you can take control of your situation and get what you deserve.​

Over the course of my career I have been increasingly concerned that I have not been treated fairly compared to my male counterparts in regards to remuneration. We discussed the current market environment, my achievements in the role and my direct and indirect contribution to the business with limited resources. I realised that I has highly undervaluing my work and delivery to the business. This gave me the confidence to move forward with a remuneration negotiation resulting in a 10% increase in base salary and an equivalent increase in bonus, so effectively earning 20% more per year.   • How long is the course?

    Allow for about five hours to go through the program excluding the activities. Depending on how you tackle the activities we suggest allowing for another three or so hours to gain the full benefit of the program.

  • How does the course work?

    Each module of learning builds on the one before, a bit like lego building blocks. As you progress through your learning and address your self-perception, value, how you communicate, improved negotiation skills and planning your approach, you will feel stronger and more confident in who you are professionally, and how you go about asking for what you want with your career. There are opportunities throughout the program to opt-into extra support from a coach to help you hone your learning.

  • Can I connect with a coach?

    Yes you can! There are opportunities throughout the program where you can add extra to your learning back asking (and enrolling for) help from a coach.
